| Your 50% right. These are the last "real" episodes. The "bonus" episode will be there to tie up loose ends for other characters. It is supposed to be airing near the holidays(Nov/Dec). | |

So we get the 8 new episodes starting April 8th, which should take us into June. Then we get to wait for the final "epsiode" (which could be two hours long) to air around Christmas 2007.
Listened to Stevie Van Zant on the radio the other day out here and they asked him "I know you can't give plot details away, but do the plot lines wrap up?"
He laughed and said "Have you been watching the same show I have? No, they will never wrap up, that's not our style."

*side-note* I hope James Gandolfini loses some weight for the final episodes. Fat-ass Tony wasn't cool.

You couldn't hear other peoples lines over the sound of him breathing.

Rarely has a TV show reached the level of depth that this show has, but at least once it's over, my "best written show" title can go to Battlestar. It's going to be tough saying goodbye though, I ain't going to lie. Some coworkers and I watched them film the end scene in Holsten's Ice Cream last month, but I don't have a clue how this season ends. Bring it on!

If you have On Demand, I'd suggest watching it from the start, because that's how I roll. But, if you don't have the time to invest, and I know you don't Keezles, check it out, I'm sure it will rock.

| Kinda spoilers~ Spoilers: | I thought the premiere was so-so. It was kinda unnerving to watch Bacala kick the ish out of Tony. I have a feeling Bobby is gonna get offed before the series' end, his freakout after killing that guy(and especially dropping the gun) will have serious consequences. I believe Christopher will be killed(or locked up) before the finale', his movie shenanigans didn't sit well with Tony before, and the way Tony hung up on him makes me believe that the bad blood hasn't gotten any better. |

Hopefully things will get rolling quickly.

The monopoly scene was one of the best I’ve seen in a while, and reinforces why I believe this series is one of the best penned ever. This isn’t bullshit television, this is real life. Bacala killing the dude in Canada may never come back in the series again, although it may. That’s what is so great about The Sopranos, it isn’t played for drama, it’s played as random as reality is.
The scene with Tony sitting on the dock of the lake just thinking was awesome, with the ducks behind him just coming close to landing. very reminiscent of his season 1 infatuation with the ducks in the pool, I thought for sure they’d land in front of him.
The only thing I didn’t like is that it was short on Paulie and Sil, I love those two and I wanted to see more of them. It was cool though how they flashed back to the arrest of Johnny Sac.
As for the editing, they've always done that. Chase loves fade outs, and any episodes that he works on have fade ins and outs, and usually small second long scenes peppered in.
