| Last weeks episode was great. The scene with Silvio had everyone at my house watching on edge. | |

Now, does that make him a snitch, even though he gave up false info to basically close the case? I don't know.
Last night's ep was awesome. You guys are right, that boat scene was one of the best. I love when Tony starts being a dick and pushing issues. I used to thing that Paulie wouldn't make it out of this season alive, now I think he will. He knows Tony knows he's lying, but all-in-all, he's a stand-up guy, even if he does run his mouth.
I like that they seem to be breaking episodes down by Tony's relationship with certain characters.
Bobby
Chrissy
Paulie
I think Sil is the only person that would absolutely die for Tony. Looks like some shit is brewing with New York soon though, we may get to test that theory.
There needs to be an episdoe where Tony visits Junior. I think that picture that Mr. Wheelchair showed to Tony may pave the way for that.

Yeah, that was awesome. Although if one more freakin character enters treatment, I swear.....
I am thinking now that this show is just going to end with nothing special happening. Like there would be another season, with more stories and such, but we will never see the continuing stories of Tony.
I was hoping AJ would just die so I wouldnt have to see the therapy and treatment. We get a funeral and a wake and then back to the show. Now we are doomed to waste more time on AJ!

Last night's episode was interesting to me because it brought it back to the essence of the earlier seasons.
AJ tried to kill himself in the family pool, the only sanctuary for the Soprano family. The same place Tony babied the ducks in season 1 and where Tony & Carmella got back together after their split.
Plus, AJ's monologue quoting Tony's mother was great, and the fact that Tony said "Poor you" twice (his mother used to say that to him all first season) in last night's episode was great as well.
This has been the only time in the series that the Soprano children have been personally "attacked" by another mob member. I think we're going into uncharted territories now, and I think that anything is possible. AJ went off the deep end (literally) and I think that Tony is next. This thing with Phil is absolutely bad.

I guess I am just getting agitated hoping for more maffia stuff, and less Dr. Melfi and that B.S.
Oh, I also don't think Tony is a sociopath, so Dr. Melfi Dr./ex can go spout his research elsewhere. (and on someone else Soprano time!)

| I think that we will see Phil Leotardo's demise next week. He and his pussy tactics of hiding in the house and speaking to Tony the way he did. He just signed his own death warrant.
I also hoped AJ was going to die, he really brings the show down.

I agree with most of what you guys are saying. I thought that this epsiode was dealing with Tony's compassionate side a little more than usual. From dealing with his depressed son, fighting for his familys' honor, and dealing with own depression. I think it showed a softer side of Tony we haven''t seen before.
