Firefly in HD
Flipping thru channels today while working on the site and came across "Universal HD." I don't remember seeing this channel in the lineup before, but they are showing the series Firefly every Thursday. I caught some of the one they broadcast tonight and it looked pretty awesome. Figured I would pass it on for any fans.

And for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, I recommend picking up the DVD's and/or catching them in order on this channel in HD. They're a great series. I didn't know anything about them but got a recommendation to check them out. I convinced my wife to watch them with me. She wasn't too thrilled about it at first, but she ended up loving the series as much as I did.

They play Battlestar in HD too, significantly later than SciFi, but at least it's in HD. I still don't understand why NBC just doesn't broadcast BSG in HD at some point. Universal plays all "Universal" shows, so there is some pretty good content on there.

Serenity is out on HD-DVD, that will have to suffice until the show is actually released in HD, if it ever is.

Even from the small amount I saw last night I really wanted to watch them all again. The video quality looked great. I let someone here at my office borrow my DVD's, I'm gonna have to get them back from him now! Or better yet, HD DVR all of them from this channel! Yay!

I'll keep my eye out on this channel. I left it on in the background while I was working and there seemed to be a few more sci-fi shows on afterwards. Not sure what they were tho - one of them had a baby dragon like thing swimming in the pool at a junior high party... very strange.

We caught a little Firefly the other night in HD on that station....it was nice to watch. In fact, even though my wife and roomates and I have seen the episodes countless times, we couldn't pull ourselves away from watching in HD

Comcast California, Bay Area. I was just wondering because All the HD channels we have is Sports, Discovery, and I think that channel that The View plays on.
