Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Kind of looking forward to this flick, even more now seeing the promotional materials. I dig the look of these, and I did Capt. Barbosa (he has a monkey, why the hell wouldn't I) so I'm glad he's back. If you didn't see Pirates II, these may be spoilerish to you.

I was a little disapointed with the second one. However I will go see it, hopefully the fun part of the first one comes back.

I'm in the minority... I like the second one. True, it was a "tweener" but heck.. compare it to other "tweeners":

I thought it was:

better than Star Wars V
way better than Star Wars II
way better than Back to the Future II (sorry Brad...)
way better than Matrix II (what the (bleep) just happened...?)
not as good as LOTR:Two Towers

It was entertaining... the part where they were swordfighting on the wheel was great. My son had a blast, which makes all the difference to me.

You can't compare BTTF with POTC (Pirates, not Passion of the Christ). They are two different types of movies. You are forgiven.

I would like to see this one, but I haven't seen Pirates 2 yet.

Well Im definetly going to see this movie... ummm it has Keira Knightley in it so..(Dreams a bit)....(A little more)

first off it has The MONKEY in it which was by far my favorite actor in #2. The part where He shoots the monkey and gives it as a gift was my favorite seen. I rewinded the part where JAck shot it like 7 times over, I practically memorized it. "Look an Undead Monkey, Now beat thaaat!"

Im thinkin When Jack gave the monkey to that voodoo lady she somehow brought back Capt. Barbosa with a ritual. what do you guys think because I could have sworn he died in #1
