Zach Adama would be a nice twist as the final cylon, but I think the ramifications of it being in the Adama lineage would be too hard to pull off unless all the Adama's were cylons.

Who knows though, I look forward to this whole season.

You know, all it would take is Baltar revealing that his test to detect cylons did, in fact, work. Then, after they beat the crap out of him for covering that up, they could figure out who the final five are. We know who four of them are. That is a tough one. Starbuck is the only one that was not present for "the calling" that the other four heard, but if the cylons can sense the final five, then they would have known that she was a cylon when they were experimenting on her. Actually, with all of the cylon infiltrators that the Galactica crew has had, why have the final five not been sensed previously? Was Six the only one that could sense them? Maybe that is just a plot hole, but it could mean that the last of the final five is someone that we don't know. The only problem with that is that it would be kind of anti-climatic with all of the drama built up around the coming reveal.

Only one of the cylons knew who the final five actually are, and she was boxed after she found out who they were. Deanna, but I think she'll be back.

The final five are "fundamentally different from the other Cylons" according to Ron Moore, and he also said the final one is not in the above picture (hence the empty seat).

I don't think the final five can resurrect like the other toasters can. I think they have one shot and that's it.

Yeah, I got very excited about that, although
Spoilers:
it wouldn't be much of a civil war. I can't see a reason to kill them off like that unless someone were down by the "respawn points" boxing those models. Ya know?

Spoilers:
True. True. I guess the reason for killing them there was that the centurions were pissed and they started to run. Hopefully we'll find out next time.

Shouldn't come in if you don't want spoilers...

If they start killing enough of them, there's going to be a resurrection back-up, and when they boxed Deanna, they did it while she was in the tub, so I'm guessing that's the way to do it.

I caught the 3:00 show, definitely the best episode of the season so far. I'll post actual thoughts on the show tomorrow.

Damn you, Cuse! I clicked on the link and it was already in progress, so I sitting there trying to figure out which episode the clip was from and then all of a sudden realized that it was tonight's ep. Give a brother a little warning before he spoils his Friday Galactica ep.

Those streams are pretty shitty quality, I'll take HD over this any day.

Great episode though, mass cyclon genocide. Looks like Torre is straight up evil now too. Interesting.

Wow and how about that, Wonder? After episode 2, I was of the opinion that the even numbered models were the ones in control, since they had the cylons and raiders in their corner. I didn't think about the base stars. How did the odds pull that one, anyway? How did they convince the hybrids to open fire on the evens' base stars? Don't the hybrids control operations on the base stars?

Also, I don't hear it discussed much, but wasn't the human leader of the cylons in the original series named Baltar? Is pimp daddy Gaius related? Has the show dealt with that at all. I don't recall them doing so.

Any chance that Torre knew she was a cylon all along? Either that or she is taking it very well and may even want to be a cylon.

Well, the genius part of all that is that they tricked them to going to a section in space where the Resurrection ships can't reach, so they really killed them. Brilliant. I think the Hybrids control the information, not necessarily the weapon functions, just advice on where to go. Did anyone notice in that destruction scene that Orion looks to be visible? Interesting.

And yes, in the original, Gaius was the Cylon overlord of sorts, but since this is a re imagined series, who knows where they are going with it!

I do specifically remember seeing Orion almost "featured" in a scene, but I didn't remember which scene it was in. It was definitely intended to be noticed, because as I recall, it occupied an otherwise empty section of the screen.
