Kinda saw this coming but should be cool to see where they go with it!!
I think Wonder saw this coming some time ago, if you read some of his posts. Wow you really picked that one man!
Does anyone know how many more episodes there are until end of season?

Yesterday's episode, the one where they introduce Baltar's new lawyer (Firefly fans will recognize him if you just imagine the clockwork orange hat on him) is basically part 1 of a 3 part season finale.
I did see them killing Starbuck, but I didn't think it would be as blunt as that. If there's one thing I love about this series it's the finales. I don't want this season to end, but I really want to see where they are going with this.
The concept of the final five sort of confuses me though, because really it's not the final five but the original five, possibly they gave birth to both cylons and humans? I don't know, we have to wait and see. Only 2 more weeks to go.
*******POSSIBLE SPOILERS IN THIS POST - READ AT OWN RISK ****
Personally I think it Sucks that we have to wait until '08 to start up again but that being said I thought the finale was awesome!!!
I thought the whole deal with the 4 cylons was easy to predict but still was pretty cool. That also keeps you guessing about the 5th one ( me anyway )
Having the Colonel as a cylon was interesting. It makes you wonder though, that if the chief is a cylon then does that mean he has a baby like Hera?
The music was great also, really intense!! I can't wait for next season, but until then I have Reno 911 and The Shield starting up so that will keep me busy for a while.

Wow - I'm really at home here. We have some Galactica nerds in the house!!! Yeay! I loved the season finale, but my jaw dropped when I saw "Continues in 2008." Are you fracking kidding me?!
In a way though, as far as brand management goes, that's an excellent strategy. It has worked well for HBO. I think it helps to extend the brand. I thought some of the season 3 episodes were a little weak after the exciting beggining in New Caprica. Not enough dog fights
Ok, so if we take it that those four are cylons which yes I'm not entirely convinced.
Chief - Ok, so does that make their kid a half cylon?? If so did they do this to cure Roslins cancer again? I would say this makes since in a lot of ways though and I have the easiest time with this. I thought he was going to be one in the second season.
Ty - This is the one I have the hardest time with.... Does this mean that cylons age? If so does this mean they are working on new models to replace the 30 something gen? or more radically is Adama really a cylon? If so does that mean that Apollo be a half cylon... Maybe everyone is really a cylon and they will go invade the earth together.
The other two doesn't bug me one way or another....
And the most important question is Starbuck real? If so does this make her the fifth cylon and the leader?
Personally I don't think that Starbuck is a Cylon, I think she is more on along the lines of a God that Roslyn always speaks about. I think its just to easy to make her a Cylon and not something more. Could also be a possibility that she is just in Apollos mind, Kinda like Six is in Baltars?? but as I type this I realize the problem with that - the Six is also a physical being.
Bottom line is...I'm really not smart enough figure this out so I just throw random crap out there that probably doesn't make much sense anyway.

Chief, Anders, Tori & Tighe are cylons. Ron Moore confirmed it here. I didn't want to believe it at first, I thought "well, they just think they are." I was wrong, they are, but Moore says they are "fundamentally different" from the other cylons.
Think about it... They're hearing a song from 1960's Earth. Our Earth, our 60s. That changes everything now because our timeline, as much as "Along the Watchtower" is concerned, actually existed at some point. Meaning they are part of the final 5, which means they somehow have a connection to a temple built thousands of years ago because they appeared inside it. Did they create Cylons? Did they create man? Are they the Gods? Do they upload or do they have just one shot at life? My gods, so many questions!
Doing some research on Along the Watchtower, it's apparently about The Apocolypse, but I haven't delved very deep into that.
Also, I didn't think Starbuck was real, but watching it a second time last night, she's in a brand new unmarked ship. It's clean, and it's got NO call-sign on it. It's not hers. That makes me think she's not in Lee's head. I think he'd see her in her ship if she was.
I think you're all correct in assuming that Hera is no longer the only half-breed Cylon. Chief always knew he was one, even if Kahill never saw him at the meetings.
We have a long wait in between this now, but at least we have a 2 hour TV movie thrown in there somehwere.
I agree... The last 3 shows made season 3 a success!! There was a lot of shock and awe. While 2008 is a long time away I'm excited at the same time to take a break. There have been a huge number of changes... I wonder how long they can go, is season 4 it?
Now it is time to circle around to Stargate Atlantis!!
Good finale and yes, it does suck that we will be waiting at least 9 months for the continuation. Isn't Roslyn also a cylon? She, Six, Hera and Athena shared a vision of the opera house with the final five standing on the balcony. I know that she has some of Hera's blood in her from the cancer treatment, but her cancer had returned, so I had dismissed that for being the reason that she also shared the vision. It's hard to say.

G
I think the connection from her is just Hera's blood. I don't think she's a cylon. Maybe she needs a continuous dose of her blood to stay cancer free. I don't think that's going to happen though, I think she's going to die.
Season 4 isn't officially the last season of BSG, but Sci-Fi started acting like assholes and initially only renewed them for 13 hours, and then just recently upped it to 22 hours. This last season should be looked at as a gift, and I wonder if Ron Moore is going to look at it like that and end it with these 22 hours.
