I don't normally watch late night talk shows, but we were just checkin' it out before going to sleep. I can't believe how old and unfunny that guy is. Not sure if it's the age, but he wasn't even lookin' at the audience for a tiem period he was sitting at his desk, but rather looking at the desk or lookin' over at the band leader. He just seemed very scattered, to me. Has he always been like this?

I guess you could say that Letterman's always been the master of "that's so not funny that it's funny..." You know what I mean? It's part of his schtick. Make a really, really, really lame joke and then refer to it all night. By the end of the night it's funny how not funny the guy is. An amazing level of dorkiness, I guess.
Sometimes that's funny. I get sick of it though, and I can't watch it every night. For me personally though, there's not much TV that I can watch every night.

| The thing with Letterman is that he knows he is unfunny alot and makes digs on himself. That is somewhat amusing. Unlike Leno who thinks himself a comic genius. | |

| I stopped watching any of them, Conan, Leno, Letterman a while ago. They are all just so un-funny and I've never liked the comments from the peanut gallery (their band members). I stopped watching also because I was never interested in the guests they brought onto their show either. If there were any interesting guests I could just find the interviews online the next day or so anyway. | |

I'm an avid Conan watcher. Out of all the late night stuff, I find his show to be the most enjoyable to watch. He doesn't sound like he's reading a cue card during his monologue. I can't wait until 08/09 when he takes over for Leno. Max Weinberg always cracks me up. Plus he's a great drummer who was held back by The Boss!
To each their own.

I think Conan is much funnier when he's not on his show though. Although he wrote some of the BEST Simpsons episodes of all time, so he'll always have a place in my heart.

Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Terrace Bay, ON (eh!) Age: 38 | I missed Howie's appearance on Letterman, but I caught the update from Opie and Anthony today! I heard about his outfit???
There are people really questioning Howard's numbers, on how Sirrus went from 600,000 subs to close to 6 millions subs (as Howard understands it!).
Another interesting fact, O & A got a higher rating on Letterman, than Howard's appearance last night!
One last item... O & A are to be on Leno next week, I beleive the 21st of December. I wonder how there appearance will go, seeing as their appearance on Letterman went better than expected! The success may have gone to their head!

Reason: Since I don't own a "Serious" product, I didn't realize it was spelled without the second "i" after the "r's"!
