RIP Sydney Pollack 1934-2008

The great, great Sydney Pollack, director of “Jeremiah Johnson,” “The Way We Were,” “Three Days of the Condor,” “Castle Keep,” “They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?” “The Electric Horseman,” “Absence of Malice,” “Out of Africa,” and “Tootsie,” among many others, passed away Monday at his home in Pacific Palisades.

He was 73.

Another sad loss.

I actually start to think of becoming older when I see famous people start to pass away. When I was a kid my mother's favorite movie was Tootsie and she watched it quite frequently. I also thought Sydney played a great character in Michael Clayton last year with George Clooney.

Great man indeed. I really liked "The Talented Mr. Ripley" which he was executive producer of. Many other film also in front and behind the camara.
