Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Sacramento, CA Age: 37 | Aliens vs Predator: Requiem I took off early yesterday from work and saw this movie. I thought it was actually pretty good considering. I liked it better then the first A vs P film. Perhaps because this one is on Earth.
Sometimes going into a movie with zero expecations can be a good thing, and I think that is why I left the showing happy. This movie had all I was looking for I think. The aliens, predators, face-huggers, guns, and some good gore/action/fighting scenes. Them predators are still way ugly, and the aliens still give me the creeps!
I'd give this movie a B- overall.

| I saw the ads for this and thought... "wait, hasn't this been done already...?" Nice to know it was different enough to enjoy. | |

AVP was on Earth, right?

| watched this yesterday, story was pretty weak...actually really weak, but the action was the prime key factor. They took the liberty of adding gruesome killings, (Including children) so you get the feeling aliens aint got no remorse.
As soon as the guy got a hold of that predator shotty and took it with him, i knew they were gonna make another A v P but probably in the future.
BTW, not one dark person in that movie, lol, not one. Except maybe the Sheriff who is a latino.

| Yeah but why pick that town...We all know White people run to danger...its proven fact (The kings of comedy said it then it must be true)
Either AvP aint got the budget to do a bigger populated City, or black people are sick of acting out dying rolls. The smart person in this movie was that lady who walks into the diner and INSTANTLY ran out. i was rooting for her till she said "The Goverenment doesnt lie to people!" Thats when the audience laughed and we knew she would perish.
