Before the Devil Knows You're Dead

Did anyone esle happen to catch this in the theaters? It's directed by Sidney Lumet (Serpico & Dog Day Afternoon) and starts Phillip Seymore Hoffman, Ethan Hawke, Albert Finney & Marissa Tomei (naked the whole time).

It's about a robbery gone horribly wrong, and it's really good. I think it's got a wide release now, but if you get a chance to see it, it's a worthy film in my opinion. Next to No Country for Old Men, it's one of my favorites of this year.

I rented this from Netflix and just got done watching it. Sidney Lumet has directed some of my favorite movies(12 Angry Men is an underrated masterpiece), and this lives up to his standard of greatness. The acting was great, the script was decent, but the editing and the way the story was told was the thing that impressed me. I fully plan on watching it again with the commentary, it's good enough that a next-day watch is feasible.

If you haven't seen this, give it a rent. It's definitely worth a viewing.
