| if your LAN is setup properly, wirelessly is more than fine for gaming. The only time it's an issue with the 360 is with video media streaming. I would suggest checking to see if your wireless access point is compatible with the wireless adapter; some won't work at all, some like mine are no on either the compatible or non-compatible list, so you just don't know (I've gotten it to work with the Belkin Pre N and Belkin N1 router/wireless access point). If it's not on either list, make sure you can return it, otherwise it's expensive accessory for no use.
Another option you may be able to use is either a powerline adapter or a coaxial adapter which lets you use still connect via a hardline. Just do some research because they're not all the same, proprietary, different throughput, and can be expensive. |
