TRADE- my psp for your DS

i never use my psp anymore and my wife mentioned wanting a DS lite the other day so i figured id see if there was anybody out there that might want to swap. considering the fact that im looking for a trade im not to particular on the color, of course she wants a damn pink one, but thats the last color i want to get. i plan on getting the R4 chip so i can homebrew on the DS, so if you have that- bonus.

i have it running custom firmware, so your options with it are limitless with roms, emulators, homebrew (cant go into details because of TOS)

heres what will come with the PSP-

* Dawn of the Dead - movie
* Evil Dead - movie
* DOOM - movie
* The Con (no case) - game
* The Hustle: Detroit Streets - game
* 2GB memory stick
* EarSubs in-ear headphones, they have their own little amp that is fully powered from the psp, they sound great, but do cause extra drain on the battery
* carrying case, holds PSP, 8 UMD discs, and headphones
* wall charger, the dog did get its teeth on it in one spot, but i repaired and have never had any problems with it
* original box and paperwork

Will sell entire package for $140 shipped anywhere in CONUS

Will trade for Nintendo DS lite + cash or DS lite + R4 chip

PS- i can remove the custom theme if need be, the firmware its currently running is 3.40 OE-A, im working on updating that after work tonight.

thats cool man, just keep me posted, i just polished the psp up and took some pics, they dont do it justice, but the thing looks near mint, im impressed with how well i took care of it!

the only flaws i could find on it is a little rub mark on top of the analog stick and on the metal ring on the back there are a couple of light scratches

im pretty particular about my toys

if i was to sell this entire package outright, what do you guys think would be a fair asking price?

used fat PSP usually go for around $80 to $120. Don't know about the games, I never heard of them, but probably $10 would be the most I would ask for each. Movies I can't say, since I'm not interested in UMD movies for the limited playability (PSP only). Just depends howly quickly you want to get rid it. $100 would move it quick. $150 would still move, but may take a few days.

When I got my PSP, recently, about month or so ago, I spent about $240 on amazon for a black PSP slim, Papaton, and 2G stick duo card.

thanks botmann, thats about what i was thinking. im not really giving the movies and games any value at all. i was going to ask $150 mainly because the headphones are probably the best you can get for psp and the fact that i have opened to the psp up to the homebrew world. do you think the firmware being unlocked should affect the price?

if i could get $150 for that would be ideal, then i could just buy a brand new DS and R4 chip lol. if i was to trade it to somebody i know, id take just a DS and charger.

Yeah i bought mine brand new when it first came out for, $250.

Barely played it after 2 months of owning it, but after i tweaked it...now its a gaming machine!

emulators make it that much better, Cant get into any PSP game, NBA JAM TE FTW!

I'm not quite sure what the GP thinks about homebrew OS. For most people, I don't think they'll care. And those who do, probably have it. I would just make sure it plays PSP games and can be updated to the official OS.

well, i found somebody to trade with, i think i took just a little bit of loss value wise, but he agreed to ship his and i wouldnt ship the psp until i got his unit. thats a pretty big thing to ask for and he went along.

i ended up getting a black ds lite, stylus, charger, and a supercard rumble lite w/ a superkey.

anybody familiar with the supercard rumble lite and superkey? ive been looking around all day for info and videos of it, but theres not much to look at really

he already shipped the ds so unless it comes in and is busted the deal is pretty locked down

Yeah, you should have put a price on it in the beginning. we like our DS to much to trade. Don't sweat it, I got a store near me that sells em for $120 (just the PSP) I was just going to help you out.
