I hate the radar, personally; I wish there was a way to turn it off altogether. Sure, I've used it, but I always turn it off in games like GRAW and it makes the game more fun, imo.

I just wish I could figure out a way to get higher kill counts! So many times, I swear I've shot the other guy a ton or knifed him first, but I end up being the one to respawn. It makes the game a little frustrating at times.

I think there is an option where the radar is mostly off. I played a certain game mode last week where it was mostly off. Hardcore mode maybe it was called? I'm not sure, but it almost does what you're looking for.

Yeah, the hardcore mode has no radar and no reticule. It's really a fun mode, too - I set up a game like that once when I was hosting and everyone seemed okay with it but I can't remember if you got XP for it? Seems nobody wants to play any other gametype that doesn't give you XP (like Valentine needs it! LOL).

Well if you crouch you wont get heard or pop up on radar but if you shoot then your screwed.

M21 sniper or the Barret 50 cal with carbine silenced...so legit, claymores and extreme conditioning..
