This to me feels like Veteran from COD2, and I have to say, I loved finishing that on Veteran. It's a great feeling when you struggle so much and then, bam, achievement unlocked. Some of it was rough, but I'm almost there, and it feels good. Plus, getting all the intel is important too. I'm almost done, but I have limited time with it being the 4th quarter to play at night, so I'm trying to bang out the campaign again.

I invite everyone unless the room is full, the person has an away message, they're playing single player, or we're waiting on someone.

I love you DethMetal.

Didn't play any online last night, I'm fixated on finishing this joint on Veteran now...
I got tired of being called "Good 'ol Two Dots."

I took a few people off of my friends list that I never heard from (or very, VERY rarely). I'll be sure to add you back on there.

I may be up for some CoD4 stuff tonight. I've yet to play it online.

I don't get invites too often either, but usually that's because once a game starts up it continues to simply run until the host drops back to the lobby. And I don't think you can add people during a match (if it is full anyway - which it usually is). A couple of times I have started a room and started inviting people to get things started. Or I've sent out messages asking for an invite to see if anyone has room. One way or another we should have enough people for multiple rooms even if we limit them to 9. I'm always game for some playing!

Just a thought, but I've joined a few games simply by keeping my f/l open, and when people have room in their lobby, that little curved arrow will pop up and you can invite yourself in, even though this may take some time. Just be sure to hit the right button - I'm always sending invites to an empty lobby instead of hitting join game!

I try not to send too many "i?" messages because I know people are usually playing and not sitting in the lobby and it can be a distraction... but if I don't get an invite I just move on down the list (looking for people who aren't in the same map) because with only 9 on each side, rooms fill up quickly.

I doubt anyone is trying to avoid anyone else or play with just a certain group all the time, because I'm always seeing different people in rooms when I play.

Then again, maybe these foolios are a bunch of jerks and just think they're better than everyone else...

That's a good tip Thornes and has worked for me a few times as well. Jumping right into a game is a good way to get in there to see what's up. Usually if there is room in the PGL lobby, the host will drop out and then get you back in so you can be on their team as well. Or if you are lucky you can fill the room up with PGL members during a social game and then get points for it!

You just have to remember, FPS's are insane, and a lot of times people don't see when other people sign on. Don't be afraid to ask for an invite.
