| CoD4 gets perfect score from OXM... ...AKA Trashrag
They said the multiplayer has depth enough to rival Halo 3.
I love the fact Halo 3 came out 6 weeks earlier than this. That way, all of the assh*les will be playing Halo 3, and leave this alone.

dont understand how you didnt like the beta tho, seemed to be perfect to me, i think there was strategy in releasing the beta so close to the halo3 release

I want to try some Orange box as well, I tried joining some public games but they would just sit there and never start. I don't know if I was doing something wrong or what.

Later on, when the really immature crowd got in and started doing things like sniping en masse from the tops of buildings you weren't supposed to be able to get onto it wasn't so great.
Then there were also games where the lag was awful, and some games in which guys with Uzi's (it may have actually been something else) just completely ruled everyone else, just because they had access to a weapon that was overpowered for the map.
All that stuff is very typical for multiplayer games when they go big either in beta or after release. It's just that some nights, with only 3 maps or whatever, it seemed to be happening every single round.
I think the games gonna be great though. I'm sure it will have its positives and negatives but overall it plays really smoothly. I'm excited about it. I hope they have some great game modes. A war is inevitable... It'll be tough deciding on whether to do it in Halo 3 or COD4 as far as I'm concerned.

| I'm more excited about the SP than the MP(even though this will be my most played online 360 game since CoD2). The campaign will be the best for a military shooter ever. | |

It just didn't excite me, but then again, none of the CoD games (save 2) really have. The class/perk system seemed more annoying than novel, and everyone I encountered in the Beta that wasn't from PGL was either an ex-marine, a wannabe marine, or didn't make the cut onto their local police force and were still holding a grudge.
I'm sure plenty of people will still enjoy it, but I'm still trying to decide if it's a rental or a buy.

And as far as jumping to buildings that were "blocked off", ANYONE can do it! All you had to do was JUMP. So, why not learn to do it so you can kill the guy, instead of hate on him?
I dunno, maybe I see it different since I was the sniper lover, and occasionally the guy in the glitch building.

It's just lame to go into a match and be advancing with your team, only to look at the center of the map and there literally be 6 guys on the roof, all with sniper rifles. You're right. It's not like you can't do anything about it, it's just lame. The game is a lot more fun for everyone if it's played as it was designed.
People that glitch for stats, or glitch just for "fun" are losers. Period. It ruins the game.
If you take advantage of glitches, maybe I should be asking you so that I understand better. What in the world is so fun about cheating in a video game to win? When it's over, do you feel really great about yourself, like you're some super badass?
It's a video game. Designed for people to have fun in. To me, glitching is no different from any other form of cheating. I don't get it.

I don't really have an issue with snipers in any game... and if you really think about it - of course they're gonna be somewhere up high if possible for maximum view.
What I do have an issue with is cheating. And yeah, glitching is cheating. I haven't played the game, so I don't know if being able to get on the roof is technically a glitch - if you can jump up there in plain sight (ie no floating through a wall and *poof* you're on the roof), then it's not...
The thing is - and this goes for any shooter - everyone has a different opinion about what's fair or fun or whatever - while I'd prefer to have only one sniper on a team, in the back somewhere, a couple medium ranged dudes, and some up in your face close quarters killers - if a team made up entirely of snipers beats my team - I need to figure out a better strategy to beat them.
