well I don't want to argue it anymore because I obviously see it different than some others. I'll just make sure I don't do it if I play with PGL'ers I guess.

I like the idea of one sniper per team. I understand that anyone can choose that weapon, and maybe I disliked all of the sniping because I never took the time to actually get good with it. I just didn't have fun in matches against a team made up entirely of snipers. And, more times than not, after the match it turned out that the other team was full of idiots talking trash about how good they were at sniping, that we sucked, etc.

One time Bronx made a suggestion about 1 sniper per team in a lobby, and the other team went absolutely crazy. Apparently they prefer a game of sitting and waiting in the weeds on their belly, waiting until some poor sap runs across their line of site.

I guess I'm more of the run'n'gun mentality, that's all.

I have a passionate dislike for Glitching. I get my but kicked regardless of who I'm playing with in Halo, but in Rainbow Six, I'm not that bad. When I get my but kicked by some guy for hours, only to find out later on he was using a glitch I knew nothing about... it typically makes me wonder why I even play on XBL. That, of course, was before I joined PGL. But even now that I'm on PGL, I have yet to play with any PGLers on that game. Just Halo.

Anyways, about the only reason I can think to learn about glitches, is to know what to look for when you're playing with someone who has to cheat to win. If any of you remember Rainbow Six 3 on the X-Box, the big glitch there was "lean-walking". I knew how to do it, and leaning was a strategy at times, but most of the "pros" I played against used it religiously even though it was a glitch.

Some of the sites that have played the game & did reviews said the perk that lets you release a grenade when you die is a real pain sometimes. Sounded like they like it even less than the last stand with the pistol. I also read it takes quite a bit longer to rank up & get better weapons, but the game trys to match skill levels like Halo 3 when matchmaking.

Is this one of those games that allows you to gain superior weapons when you rank up?

I hate that. As if people who play the game too much aren't already too good to beat, you give them weapons that make them unstoppable.

Troof. Ya know, it ought to be the other way around. The longer you play, the bigger your handicap. So you're a general, eh? Weeeeelllll, generals can't snipe. Everyone knows that! And you don't need that bullet-hose either...

The demo was just about perfect in terms of the weapons upgrade timing for me. I lose interest if it's too tough to get the next upgrade.

I can see how the grenade thing would be a pain to your teammates. I dig the last stand thing, though. Pretty cool when someone doesn't finish you all the way off and you can take them out with a pistol.

I scored some MAJOR points with some Last Stand kills during the demo.

Teamkilling is fun. Just ask Jon about how hard we laughed in COD3 when I'd start off a match by meleeing him, or cooking a grenade and walking up to him like a suicide bomber
