I get my but kicked regardless of who I'm playing with in Halo, but in Rainbow Six, I'm not that bad. When I get my but kicked by some guy for hours, only to find out later on he was using a glitch I knew nothing about... it typically makes me wonder why I even play on XBL. That, of course, was before I joined PGL. But even now that I'm on PGL, I have yet to play with any PGLers on that game. Just Halo.
Anyways, about the only reason I can think to learn about glitches, is to know what to look for when you're playing with someone who has to cheat to win. If any of you remember Rainbow Six 3 on the X-Box, the big glitch there was "lean-walking". I knew how to do it, and leaning was a strategy at times, but most of the "pros" I played against used it religiously even though it was a glitch.

I hate that. As if people who play the game too much aren't already too good to beat, you give them weapons that make them unstoppable.

Ya know, it ought to be the other way around. The longer you play, the bigger your handicap. So you're a general, eh? Weeeeelllll, generals can't snipe. Everyone knows that! And you don't need that bullet-hose either...
The demo was just about perfect in terms of the weapons upgrade timing for me. I lose interest if it's too tough to get the next upgrade.
I can see how the grenade thing would be a pain to your teammates. I dig the last stand thing, though. Pretty cool when someone doesn't finish you all the way off and you can take them out with a pistol.
