I never have trouble finishing them off, which is why I think it is pointless. Its a waste of my bullets.

I agree, although one guy killed me last night with last stand when I was on a 15 kill streak. I was a little more than pissed! lol

Can you only use your pistol during last stand? I havent tried that perk, but it would please me to no end to be able to pull off one last headshot as im bleeding out on the ground before I die

I was using last stand once and I stabbed a man once.

I think that more than avenged my death, I do not think you can use more than the pistol or the knife, the only time I have trouble with it is when I am running around with a shotgun I shoot then think they are dead and get shot in the back.

I've killed two-in-a-row during a single Last Stand. I think it's a cool perk to include in the game. I may be a puss in real life, but on the battlefield, I'm one tough son-of-a-gun, and shotgun blast to the nipples isn't gonna completely wipe me out.

The shotgun, I forgot about it. I'm surprised that it doesn't come with a scope! It has way, way to much range.

How does the shotgun have to much range? It can kill from like 10 feet away, which is at least a third of it's actual kill distance. Why do people complain when shotguns can acually kill from a distance?

I think that's a mental thing. Any weapon designed to spray they prey with pellets is gonna be considered to have too much range.

Plus, I think a lot of people consider a shotgun, unless it's right up close and in your face, to be more of a wounding weapon than a one-shot kill.

Might be a question for Dick Cheney.

I always think of a shotgun having enough power within a medium-room sized area to stop the other guy from returning fire.

The shotguns range in R6:V was reduced quite a bit with the release of the Red Player pack. But yea, before the update they were a bit to accurate at range. Being able to kill someone at the repels on Calypso from the Heli-Pad is a bit much

I'm loving this game so far. The unlockable perks, camo, weapon upgrades etc. really make playing this a blast.

A friend of mine knows a few folks over at Infinity Ward and there's supposed to be some cool new game modes coming online in the final. One of them he was telling me about was a Hardcore mode where friendly fire is on and one shot basically takes you out like in real life. Reminds me of 007 with the golden guns. I also think he said they were going to add some other crazy options like having jumps be a lot higher/lightweight similar to Unreal.

About my only complaint is how much I was sucking until I unlocked the MP5 with the red sight. Once those were unlocked, I got a heck of a lot better. The Last man standing perk is also a blast. Don't know how many times I've been sticking around in corpse mode only to take down a few dudes as they turned the corner. Good times.

I like the game and have it pre-ordered, but if the full version of the game does not allow friends only games on line I won't be getting it. there are way to many little punk assholes playing this game, last night I heard the words "faggot" , "******" , and "****er" used at least a dozen times. These little foul mouthed pieses of shit need to go.

I blame it all on Halo! Gaming on Live used to be fun until that game got the rep for being a punk in-game. It spread like a virus from there...

But I'm with NPYYZ on this one: no private lobby, I won't be buying it.
