Well, it could be due to your age. If you lied about your age, then it could be your e-mail provider either blocking it or putting in the spam/junk folder.

I've been battling these errors for the last 30 minutes as I try to register for the beta.

Epyon, you and enough other people are mis-informed. The registration goes live at noon PST. If the site is down right now, there is no way in hell it will survive the full onslaught at noon PST. Awesome.

EDIT: I really sound like a dick right now, but don't mean to. The countdown clock was just screwed up, and was using your system clock to count down to noon. Kisses and paninis from Wendy!

From what I can tell by sloggin through the site: You already have to be registered with the site and have your e-mail confirmed. Then you register for the beta. Which is why I'm at the site now.

I wonder if the site is crashing because people are trying to sign up, or if they're trying to get into the Beta. Regardless, I think this doesn't bode well for getting into the Beta.

There was a great deal of confusion on the boards about whether it would be noon in each time zone, or noon PST. Stupid javascript countdown clocks!

Okay, I registered and confirmed my e-mail. So when I go to the beta page I get this:

As you'll see on the left, we've activated the countdown clock for when Token Codes to download the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Multiplayer Beta will be available. Come back and press the "Enter Now" button at noon (Pacific Daylight Time) on Monday, August 27th, for your chance to receive a Token!

We've also updated the FAQ with information such as what countries besides the United States will be participating in the Beta, the memory required to download the software, what to do if you encounter problems downloading the software from Xbox Live Marketplace, and more.

Remember, to be eligible for a token from CharlieOscarDelta.com-you must be 18 years of age or older, have an active Xbox Live Gold Membership in the United States and be able to answer three trivia questions correctly. Don't forget to be on time! To be fair, we're doling out the tokens on a first come first serve basis.

After submitting your entry, Infinity Ward will email you your Token at their discretion. Please be patient as there are a lot of users and we are ramping the servers up at a safe pace. Be sure to check your spam folder for emails from Cod4beta@infinityward.com. We also recommend adding this address to your safe address lists.

Who else is going to try and get in? I hope we get a pretty big group in. From the sound of things, they are saying that Gamestop will be offering a promotion to get in the game as well. I'm sure it'll be anyone that pre-orders or something like this.

I'm going to try. I can't get the site to confirm my email although I signed up months ago. This must be the fourth time I've tried over the last couple of months... with 2 different email addy's.

Hopefully it will iron out before 3 eastern.

The site is being totally bombed and is excruciatingly slow.

ON MONDAY, ONLY UNITED STATES-BASED XBOX LIVE ACCOUNTS SHOULD BE REGISTERING FOR A SPOT IN THE BETA. If you are not in the United States and you sign up, you will not be able to play on the Beta. Please be patient, as we will get you a Token for your territory as soon as we can!


After registering on Monday, you may not receive your token from cod4beta@infinityward.com for some time. Infinity Ward plans to email out tokens in small groups to ensure Xbox Live servers can withstand the added users. Please be patient and wait until you receive your Token. You will know if you have a spot in the Beta during the registration process; please do not email us to double check or ask for a status update. Thank you!
