Call of Duty 3

I've been reading about COD3, and I can't help but start looking forward to November 7th.

I was originally worried about this game, as it was being developed by a different team than COD2, but it seems as though change can be good. Apparently, the game looks really good on the 360.

What has me escpecially excited is the multiplayer. It will have 24 players online (!) and will have different player classes. Scouts, Support, etc. They'll even have a medic. Being a medic in Return to Castle Wolfenstien for the OG Xbox was a blast. There will be airstrikes, vehicles (trucks, tanks, motorcycles with sidecars!) and a new gametype called War. From what I understand, players rush to a point on the map and capture it. From there, they must defend it. Sounds kind of like Headquarters from COD2, but apparently it is a little different.

This should be a total bast. It will be interesting if it can really run with 24 players... Once 24 cans of smoke are thrown the whole map would be in a solid fog bank.

Keezles your not the only one. Lately, I've been playing COD2 for that same reason. I'm getting the WWII itch bigtime. I'm also looking forward to BIA:HH too although there hasn't been too much buzz about it.

All I know is its gonna be a very, very expensive holiday season this year. GOW, COD3, BIA:HH, RS:LV, SCDA, Live Camera, HD-DVD Drive, etc....
And these are just the gifts I'm planning to give myself..........

Yeah... there are so many potentially great games coming out. Peer pressure is going to be insane around here, so be prepared!

I hope they get the multiplayer right the first time. COD2 is great now, but it was no fun before the patch came out.

Yeah...going to be an expensive November. I'll most likely be picking up COD3 right away, but I may hold off on the HD-DVD addon for a while. Depends on how the next few weeks go.

Definitely. And you all better hope they tame down the sniper rifle a little...

I read that is has more kickback, which "rewards players for lining up their shots". But I agree, it should be toned down just a tad.

I am excited about COD3 as well and will likely be selling COD2 here pretty soon. I haven't beaten it on veteran yet so maybe I'll focus on that for the next week and then sell it. Either way this November is gonna be expensive!

It should be mandatory that all CoD 2 owners beat it on veteran. If you dont, your controller should self destruct while playing on that wimpy mode they call Hardened. It'll make you a better player, get to it Peenchster!
