Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Completion List

I'm talking about only the campaign here... lets see who has beaten it. I would like to put my name in the list.

I beat it just a few hours ago. Problem is though, I'm not getting my trophies...

I'll be back here when I'm done with Veteran.

I beat it on Hardened, without too much trouble. I can foresee some issues with Veteran.

I beat it. Took about 5 & 1/2 hours. I died a lot. I can't imagine how much I will die on veteran. I like what they did with the credits. Better than just sitting through names crawling across the screen.

I am only on the third mission and wow is this game doing things no one has dared to do before. I cant say that I am offended because I really am not but that airport mission really made me think the only people I managed to shoot in that beginning part were the people trying to kill me.

That is one of the missions you could skip due to offensiveness. I'm not sure what else you could skip. I might play through on Veteran with the skipping to see what is different.

Anyone want to help me with the Spec-Ops missions?

Greenthor and I played through about 1/3 or so of the Spec-Ops on normal earlier. They were actually a lot of fun. There is a stealth sniper mission in the snow, its awesome.

I tried that one solo... WOW. I sniped 5 guys standing in the path 1/2 way through and thought I got them all... then all of a sudden I was surrounded by dogs and men.

We had men and dogs on us the first like 3 or 4 times we tried it. When we finally got it, we crawled the entire way and it took us like 20 minutes, but it was a riot using the silenced snipers.

Do you get an achievement on that mission? I died at the end. Was that supposed to happen?

If you choose to skip parts it doesnt effect your gamer score. Dieing at the end of no Russian is part of the story, if you skip the beginning of the mission you start at the part where you are fighting the sheild guys I am pretty sure at least.

No achievement and yes, what happened, happened. (Trying to not give away too much of the story)

When you skip the mission, you skip the whole thing as far as I could tell. I did, on my second play through. It just started me up at the beginning of the next mission.

Also, found the second one you can skip is the one where you view the earth from orbit. Nothing gory, but I guess it could be considered offensive. I've done worse.

Well I havent seen the orbit part yet but I would guess it would have to do with distress that could be caused from seeing the earth in a terrible state. The airport part was really bad for me I was shocked that I was actually that effected by something going on in a game. I remember times in gta or saints row I could kill anyone just out of boredom and knowing that it was a game but this was different I am not sure why but it was.

I'm surprised people are beating this so fast. Does the campaign seem really short and is there much to do after that (besides multiplayer I mean?)

Spec-ops...which is...ermm...challenging. Solo anyway, haven't tried it in co-op.

Spec ops does seem to bring a lot to the table though I only played it once on regular. The multiplayer this time around also has a ton of unlocks. Also I think now that enemies don't spawn unlimited it takes the difficulty down a bit but I like it.

It is about as difficult and long as CoD4. With adding the Spec-Ops it adds a little extra which will easily double the time spent playing the campaign. Multiplayer is still the meat and potatoes of the game, it seems.

Soloing those is ridiculous. Co-op is where it is at. Nothing like being able to revive your teammate from a last stand scenario.

Let me know if you get stuck on one. I can help. It might take a few tries though. Veteran AI is relentless.
