Treyarch made Cod3, which wasn't that great in my opinion. Treyarch will also be making Cod5. I don't know, we'll have to wait and see.

Ill probably rent this before purchase, but i do want to see how it plays out with perks and such.

Unlike a lot of others, I actually like WWII shooters (currently playing through MoH:A again), but this will be in the Pacific from everything I've heard. Who knows - maybe they'll do both Europe and the Pacific...

They said something like the game will be more about fighting for revenge and out of hatred rather than glory/honor.

To be honest, this is the major hesitation I have about it. I like sp games so I am curious to hear how well it plays. One thing that also pissed me off to no end & hopefully they let you get around was how CoD3 always played them damn cutscenes you couldn't skip.

Multi, wasn't terrible, my buddy ran his own server for us and we were all local, so that helped.
I'll probably play it, once I go back and beat COD2 and COD3 again for those achievements...

I remember the wars being really difficult to manage. "Hey, is this match for real?" I think that's when we officially started experiencing Brew's team-killing.

| I know this is just a trailer, but even still it doesn't look like has the polish of CoD4. I am on the fence with this one. I liked CoD3 enough to really consider this one, but it's hard to live up to CoD4's standards, in my opinion. | |

| No fence for me....NO COD for me. I played a little of COD2, but stunk so bad, I couldn't even complete the first part of the 2nd campaign on easy. And honestly, run and gun isn't exactly my thing. I like tactical shooters such as R6 and GR. | |

I actually dig the shooters that don't make you "lead" anyone and let you just sort of be there to do your thing in a battle. The CoD games have been pretty decent in the past about that, with the exception that 1.) All the AI have it out for YOU & ONLY YOU no matter where you/they are, and 2.) When the action only starts once you've crossed that magic invisible line. Other than that, the sp is okay.
