and judgeing from the way your holding up those chicken wings you call arms Brew I cant tell if your gonna knock yourself out or if you too are mentally challenged, I'm leaning toward challenged because those wings dont look like they can generate any knock out power ..

I've been thinking a lot lately about getting back into fighting. I'm a somewhat skinny guy (6'2, ~200lbs), but it's a lot of fun, and I was in GREAT shape when I used to do it.
What I don't miss is the bruises, the turf burns, the broken finger (still broken), the hot sweaty 230 pound guy laying on top of me choking me to death , and everything else. I'm not one for trophies.
So, do you guys fight at all? (Brew and Brown Bear)

wrestled in high school then graduated to Gracie jits when i was about 20 or so fought in some local events and have an amatuer record of 8-3 , I have a blue in Gracie Barra and I train well used to train at the Omega Martial Arts center , I 've rolled with the great Jeremy Horn and have hung out with him , Tim Silvia , Matt Hughes , Ricco Rodriguez when they would come to town to train with Jeremy for their upcoming fights , I love rollin jits and have huge respect for ANY body that gets in a cage regardless of how "retarded" I might think they are ...what about you brotha sounds like you had game at one time ???

| I GOT GAME...I GOT ALL THE GAME! I havent fought a real fight in ages, but im tough wrestler, and since i used to be skinny i have super fast reflexs that catch people off guard cause they see some fat they think im slow.
But around here there aint much fist throwing, more switchblades, Machettes and gun play so i dont get into anything cause most the time people wont square up anyways. Man, i wished i did wrestling in high school, i could of pwned.
I believe in you BREW, you may punch like a sissy but heart goes a long way, especially a big mouth, you could bite the whole side of a persons face off instead of just an ear. ( Its jokes, you know me and you go way back, Me no want no Traaaa-bulll!

I've taken bits of stuff from kempo, jui-jitsu, hapkido, and wrestling. It makes my glamour shots look really nice I haven't fought in quite some time since having responsibilities and being grown up n stuff. Nowadays its more of a must-fight only thing.

Me and two other bigger guys used to hit the mats once a week and train. Our idea of training was learning a few moves for a few minutes and then jumping straight in and fighting. We'd rotate out in 5 minute rounds so you fought for 10 minutes on and 5 minutes out for about 45 min or so. I loved it and hated it at the same time. I was skinner back then (175 lbs), so the only thing I had going for me was a powerful low kick and flexibility. I could pull out of submissions fairly easily and submit other guys. The guys I fought with always hated it because arm bars did nothing to me. I'd just pop my shoulder out and twist it and an arm bar didn't even hurt. I also have a really long reach (my arms are insanely long), but I have no idea how to use them. When it comes to punching, I suck.
I agree with you on the respect though. Just from what I've done, I can tell you that you have to be in INSANELY great shape to stay in a ring for even 5 minutes, much less longer. The guys that do that have my respect. It's not easy.
Sounds like you've got quite a resume. Rolled with Matt Hughes and Tim Silvia?? That rocks man. I'd kill to spar with Matt Hughes some time.
