After all, gaming with PGLers is supposed to be about fun, not ranking up, right?
Quo, I feel your pain - I left this game in the dust a long, long time ago... Playing with the GP sacbags is just not my idea of fun. Quote: |

BUT, rank still makes a difference when playing amongst friends, especially when some are well into the officer ranks with most of the perks. I know I'm beating this horse again, but custom/private matches should allow players to play any gametype with selectable perks open to everyone in the lobby. As it is, you still have to suffer with the GP in order to achieve the level of your friends. PGL rooms or not, when you're set at a disadvantage, it can still get annoying.

I personally think the idea of "ranking up" attracts the stat-whores & ruins the game almost immediately, which in turn shows you they'll do anything (like pretty much cheat and exploit the map) just to get that level up point...
They all need a swift kick in the nuts.
