sheeeeez. No GOW today.

Something strange about where I live evidently. COD3 and GOW were supposed to be at my local EBGames today, but no deal. When I called about it, they said if it wasn't in until tomorrow, it'd be $5.00 off.

Strange thing is, the stores 20 minutes to the north and 40 minutes south both have them both in stock... but nada here locally, and I don't have the time for a quest today. A project's due tomorrow. Looks like I'll be playing catch up to you guys once again, getting my arse handed to me. But how would that be any different from usual?

I put this in the GoW thread already, but I picked up the CoD3 "bundle" at Best Buy today, which included The Longest Day (starring John Wayne). It didn't cost any extra than just the game. I'll probably never watch this 3-hour black/white picture, but it was a cool offering on Best Buy's part.

I'm going to pick up my COD in about an hour. The advanced math teacher at the school where I work went to EB today to get his GOW and was told by the manager that Fedex screwed up the delivery of all of the COD and GOW to area EB stores; apparently they won't have their copies until tomorrow at the earliest. Talk about some POed customers.

Had to go to BB to get COD3 when GS didn't have my mostly paid for GOW. BB had plenty of both. I didn't get any free movie whatsup with that?

So how do you guys like COD3 vs COD2? I like thowing grenades back except sometime you need to be quick. Game plays about the same maybe looks a little better. Only been playing it an hour or two.

Wood Ghost, I just finished the training... and I can tell you I like it more than I liked CoD 2! First thing I noticed with the panning is no v'sync tearing! Not to mention, the graphics have definitely improved! The feel of the controls and such are just like the original with the small exception so far of the tossing the grenades. You can actually hold onto the grenade as the pin is undone from it so you can make it explode more consistently where you want it to!!! AWESOME!!!!

I'm not going to get a chance to pick this up for a bit, although Gamefly is sending a copy out today (hopefully in time for FNFF). So, who's up for some COD2 action tonight?

I loved COD2 but this is off my list. Just got GOW today - Marvel last week - I got plenty of game for the next month or two.

Ditto for me! I am so bitter. The biggest title of the year has to have an unforeseen shipping screwup. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!! No other choice now, gotta wait till tomorrow. Everyone including BB, CC, Target and Walmart are outta stock at this moment... COD3 will hold me up til tomorrow.

Target has said the whole time on there website that it wouldn't be available until the 9th.

The target by my office had loads of COD3 and GOW in their display case.

I just got back from there and picked up COD3 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance with gift cards I had laying around. I have another $66 left so that should allow me to pick up R6: LV.

Now when I get home I'll probably just sit in a stupor unable to decide which game to play. So if you don't see me online tonight its because my head exploded trying to decide!

I'm returning my second copy of GoW to the cool EB I found, and getting this with the dollars. Hopefully they have it in.
