| Yeah. Add wi-fi and add all normal codecs, are do what Archos is doing and charge a license fee, ($20) for the codec pack. Archos actually went over board on add-ons. They have around seven, each costing $20-30. The Opera browser is $30. The 720p HD out codec is $20. Widgets pack, $20. H.264 and digital sound add in, $20.
Either way, these companies, both Apple and MS need to not hinder our viewing codec choices. The devices are more then capable. Either charge us for it or open it up and stop being the "police" for the movie studios. |
