Oh, I found a huge pain with the Zune. The first computer you sync your Zune with is the ONLY one it can sync with. If that computer dies or you reinstall the OS, you will have to delete all content on your Zune before you can start syncing your Zune with it.
So now I have to watch like 20 shows before I can delete the other 20 on there and add more. Suck. So dont plan on using your Zune for storage I guess. Unless someone knows a way around this... |
I didn't have to do that with mine. I kept my content and just resynced with the music files after I did a fresh Vista install. I had no problems. I deleted nothing from my Zune. I didn't go through any special process. I just told it which folders to monitor. Which are my exact same folders since I use an NAS drive for all my Zune content. It did have to go through all the folders agin which took time but nothing was ever deleted from my Zune. Even content that is only onmy Zune is still there.
Maybe I got lucky.
