| Yes, I know yesterday was Valentine's day, but the gf and I don't totally subscribe to the holiday as it's essentially a way for Hallmark and similar customers to make money - yes I bought her a card and YES I made her a fancy candle-lit dinner - but that's besides the point.
She decided she wanted to do some shopping last night, so we both did. She found some clothes she wanted and I snagged some Wii gear. Found the last copy of Wii Play at Comp USA and purchased it mainly for the Wiimote. Couldn't find a Nunchuck, but did snag 2 classic controllers so she and I can play Mario World and others that she was giddy about when I showed her the Virtual Console. And of course, picked up a 2000 point card so we can pick up a few tasty retro titles.
I haven't opened Wii Play yet, but am hopeful that there are a few games worth playing there. |
