Not broadcasting an SSID is only going to stop someone who's using Windows built wifi protocols from finding your network - ie A total noob! I personally use NetStumbler among others. Once you have captured a few packets with Ethereal, you should have enough info on WEP, as well as a(n) MAC addy to use to bypass their filtering. Think I've said too much...
