Customizable Gravity for Halo 3 Multiplayer

Wow, this is going to add a whole new dynamic to gameplay, espceially Barney Ball! Although I can't even imagine if we can use this on Hogs & Specs.

As it stands, gravity can be increased or decreased as easily any other gameplay setting. In this instance of rockets on Snowbound, we set it to 50%. It was ridiculously fun.

With gravity that low and the gametype being rockets, everyone jumped as soon as they hit the ground to make it more difficult for the other team to kill you with splash damage. You either had to time a rocket with their hitting the ground or score a direct hit on them. It doesn’t necessarily make things any less frantic than a rockets game normally would be, but there's more calculation, waiting, stalking and patience required in each kill.

Also fun was running out of ammo. When two guys were facing off without ammo, it was epic. It was like watching a slow motion fight to the death each time. Or some sort of anime. I half expected to see the skybox turn into a blur and the characters to explode into pretty colors when they met in mid-air. The final kill was one such scenario: Frankie and I, one on one for the final kill, while rockets fired by Staten and stosh flew past us. Somehow, perhaps as a result of hax, chetz and/or a pact with the devil, Frankie encrushinated my face with his empty rocket launcher.
