Hey Andir, welcome to PreGameLobby! You raise a valid point. The exhaust I have noticed comes out the back of the PS3. I was not able to gain a measurable amount of sound in front of the consoles unfortunately. To see how skewed the results may have been, however, I intend to spend some time this weekend to see if I can get any sound to be picked up by the SPL meter in front of the consoles. I wasn't able to last time, but I'll try it again.
