Man, that is a fine line. I can't say that I was all that much more mature at 18 than I was at 17. For that matter, I was already at UCLA living on my own when I was 17. I guess there really is no way to police maturity, but parents should really be more in tune with their children. I am still upset by parents who buy their obviously-too-young children games that are not designed nor intended for them.
