This has me thinking...SC was never a total exclusive, just a timed one. SC and SC 2(pandora) were on the Xbox 4 to 8 months b4 anything else.
A timed exclusive makes sense, total exclusivity does not. Regardless, a timed one helped the Xbox install base grow exponentially, this is fantastic news!!!

While Sam Fisher's upcoming role in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent will play out across platforms, Ubisoft is developing the follow-up entry for Xbox 360 only, locking out competing platforms such as the PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, or even PlayStation 2.
Of course, exclusives don't always last forever these days, and it isn't clear yet whether the next Splinter Cell will eventually sneak onto other platforms after a first run on the Xbox 360. We'll keep you informed as soon as we have more details. |
