The history of rap has had much worse rappers than Eminem, who I will admit, is skilled beyond his years at writing and delivering verses. He may not be too skilled in Publicity, but that's neither here nor there.
I'll further Keezy this thread.
Worse rappers than Eminem:
Lil' John
Lil' Anybody
2 Live Crew (catchy, but horrible HORRIBLE rappers)
Anyone from Texas
Dana Dane
Foxy Brown
Project Pat
Timbaland
I could go on and on. The genre has suffered from people who think rapping is talking, and it's not. It's just as much delivery as content. While I don't own an Eminem album, you cannot deny that cracker has skills.

Wonder! How can you argue that Cinderfella Dana Dane was a bad song?!? That song ruled!
Although I agree with the rest of your list. You do have to give Timbaland credit for producing and some wicked beats and stuff tho.

Oh no, I was a HUGE Dana Dane fan, but when you listen to him now? Dude was riding Slick Rick's legacy like it was going out of style. Plus, his accent was fake. I still listen to him though! Nightmares man... too good:
Well, I walked into the office, what did I see?
A well-shaped body with the back to me
Sittin in her chair with an all-white gown
Said (Dana Dane, won't you please lay down?)
She said that she wouldn't reveal her face
Till my hour was up and I was on my way
Now we got to the matter of why I came there
I said, "Doc, I keep havin these crazy nightmares"
Hell, I listen to 2 Live Crew when they're on too, but you know... terrible rappers!
I've met 2Pac, the whole Wu-Tang, Mos Def, Talib, Common, and more, and the coolest I've ever met was Luke from 2 Live Crew. That doesn't mean he can rap though, but I'd definitely hang out with him.

Yeah, good points you guys ... except for the Lil Wayne thing. Wow. It amazes me how many artists suck these days (across all genres). That's why I'm always out looking for cool stuff. My buddy brought me back some random music from New Zealand. Some interesting stuff.

Why? Because he can rhyme 'bitch', 'ho', and 'crack' mo' times better than other rappers? Or is it because he can write a 'song' about killing the mother of his child?

Those are the hardest songs to write. I can easily write a story about it, but as soon as I try to rhyme the methods, BOY HOWDY I do get tripped up.
Further Keezy:
Peench, do you think Eminem writes Obie Trice's lyrics too? I can't get:
Goddamn okra and beans, got you Oprah in jeans-
seems to me a little Lean Cuisine, wouldn't hurt much-
I don't touch!
out of my head the last week.
