When I started this thread a week ago, I never thought it would turn out like this.

Sony has cut their shipping goals in half....again.

They expect to get no more than an additional 200,000 to the U.S. from now until Christmas. Retailers are the culprits in getting the word out, they are livid. Thats less than 400,000 total in 6 weeks shipped and sold in the U.S. while Nintendo will reach close to the 2 million mark by January 1st here in the states.

With only that many units available at the busiest shopping time of the year, a LOT of people will be buying Wiis and 360s instead.
