| Special Tonight
At the risk of sounding political, I wanted to let you guys know about something I heard about that's on TV tonight.
Tonight on Glenn Beck on Headline News at 7, 9 and 12 EST there will be a special on the Middle East and Islam, and how the culture over there reacts to America.
Whether or not you believe it was good/bad/immoral/great/whatever for our troops to be in Iraq, I think it's a good idea to be informed about the goals and intentions of other groups/nations when it comes to the U.S. and its allies. There's rumored to be quite a bit of content from Al Jazeera on this program, specifically with regard to the level of anti-Americanism and anti-semitism over there and whether it's mainstream or on the fringes.
Anyway, I'm not advocating any political position here. There are tons of places to discuss politics, and this is NOT one of them. So I don't want to start a politcal debate. I just wanted to point this program out. If you're interested, check it out. I always wonder if we're getting the whole story on what's happening over there... maybe this will shed some light. |
