Really? I can think of at least four directors, two that haven't done anything in years that make Michael Bay look like the tool he is. James Cameron,, Richard Donner, John McTiernan and I would give Martin Campbell a pass for making two of the best Bond films within the last 20 years. But hey, you can have your Armmageddon(puke) and Transformers (cringe)
Aside from that I have always loved the Cohen Bros, they are great story tellers, but I know what I am getting into when I see one of their films, I would think that like most things, everything comes down to personal preference. People like what they like, nothing wrong with that. Unless they are wrong of course.
