I'm against happy-endings. I'm sick of directors(or studios I should say) babying the viewer. I want main characters to die, I want the bad guys to win, I want to feel a general loss of faith in mankind. Because the good guys never win in real life, and no one ever experiences a happy ending in real life.

I'll respect anyone who's willing to leave the end of a film up to interpretation. I gained a lot of respect for the Coens after NCFOM.
