| I may have to try this Netflix crap. A bunch of my cable shit is increasing in the next bill, July. Basic and Digital packages both increasing $3 each and my rental fee for my HD/DVR is increasing $5/month. The VOD fees have gone to that $4.99 mark too and that's SD content. I'm thinking about going TIVO HD and using Live for any VOD shit. TIVO's shit is now cheaper than me renting from my provider. What BS. Plus I have FAR more control over my storage options. HD content on Live is like .50 cent more than my current cable VOD. Cable is just becoming very uneasy to swallow each month anymore. Nothing but increases with no end in site. I can only imagine what prices will be like in 09 after the change or when every channel is HD. |
