Jokes. Excellent thread Pickle. I need to get back to giving blood. That ish is important. This is pretty small, but lately I've been letting anyone get over or pull out of a parking lot/driveway. They get super hyped because they don't have to sit there for 10 minutes. Quo and Wonder have seen my road rage, so I'm trying to go the extreme opposite.
In H.S. we had community outreach stuff we had to do, and one of the events was to take kids from an inner city school to the zoo. We were each paired up with one kid. At the end of it, we were dropping them off and my "little buddy" hugged me and said "I love you" and kissed me on the cheek. I'll remember that forever. Hopefully that day had a positive impact on him as well. |
