Interesting. I can't speak to the SP b/c I haven't had the chance to play that side yet unfortunately.
So, as far as graphics go... certainly Gears has raised the bar! So does that consitute an exemplary effort by the Developer of Gears or does that mean that all other contenders are lazy and rushed to the market? When something great comes out, I tend to think that the developer did an awesome job. Not that they did an average job and the other developers are a bunch of losers who can't do it right, lol. Graphically, COD3 looks better (at least the online component) to me than COD2. I'm happy with the way it looks. But compare it to Gears and it isn't even a comparison. You guys are dead on that that's the new measuring stick.
Isn't it great though that Gears is now the new "standard"? Can you imagine the graphics that these boxes are onna be pumped out now in even "average" games graphically? What was first rate is now, once again, unacceptable. Great stuff!
