I've had a couple people ask me some questions about recording/playback, so I'm going to post the answers here.



First off, some settings: When you pull up the Studio Launcher, click on 'Setup' located in the upper left. The first thing you see is 'Capture Source...' Click on that. Make sure your video/audio settings are set on Dazzle DVC170 (if you see a camcorder, you're on the wrong setting). If you don't have this option, it's because your Dazzle is not plugged into your PC or laptop. Also make sure your TV Standard is left on NTSC, and your aspect ratio is on 4:3 (if you put it on 16:9, it is going to stretch your video & make it look funny if you upload it to YouTube or whatever). Hitting okay will bring up a screen and (assuming you already have your 360 on, you'll see the game in the upper right corner.

Click on 'Setup' again, and this time, click on 'Capture Format.' I have only had luck uploading a video to YouTube using the 'DivX' preset. If you want to be able to view your finished video in your Windows Media Center, the only way I've been able to do it is making sure I'm set on DivX.

Once you've captured & edited your video, click where it says 'Create File,' and name your video. You should then see your game on the right screen on your laptop/PC. Once you've done this and it's finished loading, you should then be able to view it in your Windows Media Center and upload it to youtube or whatever you use.
