My sister is one of the few people I know who could fill her 160 gig 5th gen classic almost to the brim with legal music. As a musician, the one thing she will impulse buy above all else is music. For me, I think the 8 gig should be enough for awhile, especially since I was using a 4 gig Mini. I still have some 3+ gig remaining, with a little over 3 gig of music, a few hundred meg of photos, some videos and that's about it. I'll probably fill it when we go on vacation and I know we'll be flying, and I purchased a
splitter so we can both listen to what's being watched/played.
As for the Google Calendar sync, I read about that on their site, but I never installed it because I don't use Outlook's calendar at home, only at work. I'm hoping someone provides an app for that functionality come June.
As good as Apple is with software, there are some simple things missing from the functionality of the Touch. One example: when you enter a Contact and add their birthday, it doesn't populate the birthday as an event in the calendar. That one really bugs me because I'm pretty bad with dates.
