| EPIC flag, for those who don't know, is essentially a CTF match that lasts over an hour. When a game lasts that long, it becomes very different than the Halo you find in matchmaking. It instead becomes very tactical and very teamwork oriented. You have to fight the enemy, you have to organize your team. All-star players become less important since they can no longer be counted on to carry a team. It becomes more focused on the team. And personally, I'm never happier when I'm playing Epic Flag.

I'll post pictures of the map tweaks and details on the style changes later this week.
Hour long games, not your thing? Don't worry. We'll be playing on default maps and gametypes, but for a few games ZoomZoom71 and I tweaked the Avalanche to have a bit of the older feel of Sidewinder, but still keep the faster pace and easier capture style of Avalanche.
Kickoff is going to be the same as every week:
12AM EST. That'll probably be warm ups on big maps, but once we get a good number of players, then we'll switch over to some Epic stuff.
