Those highlights were great, and good narrative. I sold us short by not staying up, filing through *
all* of them and picking out 5 more because there were so many great offensive plays.
We were thinking the same thing through the whole game:
- "Man, I'm going to have to score every possession!"
- "3rd and long means he's going to get another first down, plus 10 or 15 yards, UGH!!!!"
- "Up 28-14 at half. Oregon's got it made now."
- "Tied 31-31 with 1:48 in the game! Oregon's going to score and go up by a TD, but he'll leave to much time on the clock."
- "He's called Stewart up the middle too many times."
I loves me some Jonathan Stewart. He's quite a weapon. In the hands of a better coach, he'd be absolutely positively unstoppable. I know it's just his game profile that make him great, but I hope he has a great career for the Panthers.
OohChit, you really did a great job of winning the game--especially in adjusting when I'd find a defensive scheme that worked a teensy bit. It was one for the ages.
