You do need some kind of capture device, and some video editing software once you're brought it to your pc.
I use a
HAVA device... it's sweet, does a great job. Captures any video I send to my TV and sends it to my laptop (or theoretically any computer locally or over the net, if my upload speed was fast enough... should be soon).
You can use almost any capture device out there as long as you are playing in standard definition, through like a TV-out. Thats a cheaper solution.
It'll take me a while to get to it, but you can send me the vid if you like and I'll capture it and send you the raw film fr you to edit up. Most of the video programs have free trials. Sony Vegas is unbelievably sweet for editing and they have a 30-day trial. There's a learning curve but it's worth it imho.
