Crippler...I didn't think there were sync groups before? I guess I might have overlooked that feature if so. Both my wife and I use the same Zune pass since you can sync 3 Zune on a pass. However, I don't want most of her music on my Zune nor does she want some of my music but we both want our Zunes to auto sync. So the work around has been for her to sync her stuff on the laptop and I do my stuff on the desktop. Well that sucks b/c then she can't listen to some of her music on the 360 or in the kitchen on our
Roku device. So with the sync groups I can tell it to not sync certain genres (from what I can tell..still need to test it out).
I also like the autoplay list as well, I really missed that from the 1st gen Zune s/w. I have been rating all the stuff I have been listening too the last few months, so now I can build a Favs auto playlist and let hat sync up.
I can't wait to see what the new Zune this fall will be, assuming there will be one. I am planning on getting that or the Zune 80 so I can get more videos on my Zune. The transcoding part really sucks for the first gen Zunes so I haven't put many video podcasts on my Zune yet.
