My wife called me and told me about this yesterday. I know he had alzheimer's pretty bad, so I'm sure he had no idea what was going on, but it is pretty sad to see him go.

I've been a huge Charlton Heston fan for a long time. He's my favorite actor, and one of the few whose personal life I found respectable.

From his work in major films such as Ben Hur, Ten Commandments, and Planet of the Apes, to his small hilarious cameos in the sitcom Friends, and the movie True Lies, it was never anything short of amazing. That, and what he did for the NRA will be truly missed.
