| You mean that fact it was coming out now wasn't an indication it would blow? Most of the time, the good movies come is beginning of summer, end of summer, and a few holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving, when the studios know there will be high theater attendance. Although I don't know if I would say they're the best movies that come out, but they're usually the safe bet on being entertaining.
This the time for sure when studios release all the crap that would have eaten it big time being released any other time. There are a few exceptions, but they're usually tied to some event that falls around this time.
I am a bit surprise to hear special effects were a bit under par from what we've come expect. It was the one thing that I assume would make it entertaining. All well. |
