Yeah I agree. This nonsense with "next gen consoles cant handle it" is industry political rubbish. Doom III on PC needed 1 gig of ram to run even semi smooth yet the xbox with 64 megs ran it fine. At the time of the game hitting Xbox, the console wasn't even close to the power of a PC, yet it still ran great.

Here we are with next gen consoles that in some respects are better then a modern gaming rig, and they can't run it? Them using Dx10 is a copout. Its a console, its a closed environment for poops sake! take advantage of that!

back to Bryans comment...

Why is there no footage at TGS? Its been almost 5 months since E3 and they couldnt show anything?

I forgot Halflife 2 is on the Xbox and looks and plays good. The latest and greatest running on a console that was started in 1999 and put on shelves in 2001, can run Halflife 2 and Doom 3? And the 360 and ps3 with video cards that are insane cannot run Crysis?

I think someone mentioned that the cpu's couldnt handle the physics. Ummm, learn how to use those cpus and threads and SPEs and youll have a monster of a game running on both consoles!

Forgive me, Im just irritated with this.
