| Actually, as long as you use Sharpie brand permanent marker, it does indeed come off. I take it off of stuff all the time with little effort. Now, off-brand permanent marker is another thing altogether. You can tell the difference because off-brand marker looks kinda ghetto on stuff, where Sharpie looks clean and clear. Off-brand marker is a bitch to take off of stuff. Sharpie, which is what all of those people signing it would have used, would come off pretty easily.
Poor bastard. I don't think I would have sent it in, but I do feel sorry for the guy. It obviously meant a lot to him. What he should do is go to decalgirl.com and use this picture to make a custom vinyl skin for his box. Then he could continue to get it signed and if he has to get it repaired again, just peel it off and ship the system off to repair. The pictures are pretty clear. I bet they could make him a skin with all that stuff on it. |
